i aid madagascar Onlus
Italian non profit organization
I aid madagascar Onlus – italian non profit organization was established on 30 March 2018 by the will of Roberto Ricci who has been operating in Madagascar since July 2015 to help the populations of some villages outside the tourist circuits of the island of Nosy Be – Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world. Villages unknown even to most of the island’s population and which remain completely isolated and unreachable during the rainy season (December – March).
Roberto’s enthusiasm and love for Madagascar has infected more than four thousand friends who have been following him for five years on Facebook, where he documents daily with texts, images and videos the activities he carries out in the villages, for the children and the people who are his second big family and, in particular, six friends who have decided to support him as founding members of I Aid Madagascar, to help and support him in this exciting experience.
From this was born iam: the logo and name of i aid madagascar – Italian non profit Organization or “I help Madagascar”. An open invitation and extended to all friends who love Madagascar, its people and who, for what they can, are willing to help and be part of i aid madagascar.
i aid madagascar – Italian non profit Organization has as its fundamental inspiring principles equality, parity and equal opportunities for all human beings and the affirmation of cooperation between peoples, the culture of peace, solidarity and multiculturalism.
i aid madagascar – Italian non profit Organization is an Italian non-partisan, apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit organization association. It operates in the social assistance sector and aims to pursue exclusively social solidarity purposes, supporting and creating social projects concerning public health, education and the economy. In particular, but not exclusively, it follows the purpose to:
• promoting the social and cultural growth of the territories and underdeveloped urban areas
of Madagascar and other African countries;
• building school, health and reception buildings;
• supporting local populations in government projects in the agriculture, industry and energy sectors;
• promoting the implementation of medical and surgical centers in order
to offer free medical care to people in need;
• promoting professional training by providing subsidies, always in favor
of disadvantaged areas of Madagascar and other African countries.
Among the founding members, i aid madagascar has the pleasure of including Marco Sassi, President of VIM: Italian Volunteers in for Madagascar, a non-profit organization that coordinates 102 associations operating throughout Madagascar with the aim of bringing together all the energies that come from the various associations for a common goal which is Madagascar. The intent is also to bring to light a situation that would require the attention of International Cooperation, since Madagascar is in the last places in humanitarian aid as it is perceived as a tropical paradise, but in reality it appears to be one of the five poorest countries in the world.
